The 3nd annual conference "The Nordics and Latin America: Sustainable Mining" will take place on November 23-27, 2026 in Santiago, Chile organized by Latnord with CODELCO as Miner Partner, including in the program a site visit to Andina Mine.

The topic of the conference is mining decarbonization developments in nordic countries and Latin America. Mining electrification for surface and underground mines, green hydrogen, IPCC, HVO, synthetic fuels, among others are part of the agenda.

The conference brings together mining companies, academia, OEMs and public sector from both nordic countries and Latin America being a platform for international collaboration opportunities.
