The conference "The Nordics and Latin America: Mining 2024" brings together mining operators, mining technology companies and suppliers, authorities and academia from both Latin America and Northern Europe for providing insights, high level networking and opportunities for collaboration between companies, educational institutions and authorities.

The topic of the conference is sustainable mining, and it's organized in three blocks: sustainability (tailings management, water efficiency and circular economy); technology (electromobility, AI and others) and energy (renewable energy solutions for mining).

The objective is not just comercial, but also improving collaboration, knowledge transfer and international relations between Latin American and Nordic countries.
